We believe that community and iwi consultation is key successful development and outcome of many projects, and have significant experience in coordinating and contributing to consultation processes.

Main Projects

Whangawehi Catchment Management Plan

A MoU between Tangata Whenua of Mahia, Landowners of Mahia, the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council and the Wairoa District Council sets the foundation for the development of a Catchment Management Plan for the Whangawehi Stream, the largest stream catchment of the Mahia Peninsula in the Northern Hawke’s Bay.

Palmerston North City Council Wastewater Monitoring Group

Facilitated by Aquanet’s Olivier Ausseil, the Palmerston North City Council Wastewater Monitoring Group is composed of members of the community and organisations with a particular interest in the management of the Palmerston North wastewater treatment plant and its discharge of treated effluent to the Manawatu River.

Ruataniwha Plains Community Water Storage Project

The Hawke’s bay Regional Council is in the middle of a feasibility study for a community water storage project that could service more than 20,000 hectares of land for irrigation. As the project’s lead scientist, Olivier Ausseil coordinates the scientific studies undertaken as part of the feasibility study.
