Olivier provided mentoring or peer review to a number of regional SoE water quality reports, for Environment Canterbury (2011), Environment Southland (2011), West Coast Regional Council (2008), Hawke's Bay Regional Council (2009). Olivier is also currently assisting Greater Wellington Regional Council for the preparation of the council's upcoming 5-yearly SoE water quality report.
