SENIOR FRESHWATER SCIENTIST
Laura Keenan
Laura is a Senior Freshwater Scientist in Traverse’s Wellington office. Laura has more than 20 years’ experience in freshwater science, with expertise in hydrology, water allocation and groundwater–surface water interaction.
Laura has an MSc in Physical Geography from Victoria University and has since worked in science, regulatory and field-based roles at regional councils and consultancies. Laura is passionate about ensuring accurate and concise communication of science. She is currently the Assistant Editor of the Journal of Hydrology (New Zealand) and carries out technical editing for the New Zealand National Environmental Monitoring Standards.
